At about $4.59, it has 30g of protein. That ties the Super Sausage Biscuit for the most of any biscuit under $5.

The Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich has the same 30g of protein but costs $6.29. If the store is still serving breakfast, the biscuit saves you $1.70.

The combo costs $6.59, so Hash Rounds and a drink add only $2.00. That's one of the better combo upgrades at breakfast.

Hardee's nutrition guide lists 2,780mg of sodium. That's more than the full 2,300mg Daily Value in one sandwich.

It's higher than the Monster Biscuit (2,510mg) and the lunch Chicken Sandwich (2,490mg). A plain biscuit has 840mg, so most of the sodium comes from the breaded fillet.

The Spicy Hand-Breaded Chicken Biscuit costs $0.10 more ($4.69). Nutrition barely changes: 620 calories and 2,810mg of sodium.

Pick on taste alone. Both list egg, milk, sesame, soy and wheat as allergens. Sesame is worth noting, since most Hardee's biscuits don't list it.
