That's a fair trade if the plain sausage version leaves you hungry by 10 a.m.

Add egg to the allergen list, too. The Sausage Biscuit doesn't list it, but this one does.

Hardee's nutrition guide lists 600 calories. The online menu card shows 740, a 140-calorie gap.

That's one of the biggest mismatches on the breakfast menu. We go with the guide because it lists fat, sodium and protein too: 39g of fat, 1,290mg of sodium and 19g of protein.

The Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit costs the same $4.29 and also has 19g of protein.

It comes with cheese and runs 510 calories, 90 fewer than this one. If you're splitting hairs on calories, bacon wins. If you want a heartier, savory bite, sausage does.

Both combos cost $6.29, so Hash Rounds and a drink add $2.00 either way.
